Stamp Out Hunger - 2015 Saturday, May 9th Did you put out your Marsh bag on the second Saturday of May? Hundreds and hundreds of families did in the annual Stamp Out Hunger food drive. Each year the postal carriers union promotes the second Saturday in May as a nationwide drive to collect food. This year Servant’s Heart was blessed with four Post Office locations, Beech Grove, Garfield Park, New Palestine and our newest location in Plainfield. We were spread out across central Indiana with teams of volunteers sorting food on the post office docks. At the end of a long day what a blessing to stand and give thanks surrounded by 22,000 pounds.
