Thanksgiving Hot Meals - 11/26 Our board committed to preparing the food but we had never actually fixed a large quanity of food. The South Emerson Church of God offered their kitchen. We bought food for 90 meals by using a menu wizard from GFS on the Friday before Thanksgiving. We met our new Chef Rick and his wife Joy when they helped us fill the truck @ The Creek. Rick asked if we were doing anything else for Thanksgiving. We shared that we were preparing 90 meals and didn't know the first thing about it. We delivered 83 meals to 65 families and were able to spend some time with each family.
